Three Part Anxiety Toolbox Workshop Series

Strategies to Stop Procrastinating and Better Manage Time
Day/Time: Wednesday, October, 14, 2020 from 2:30-4pm

Description: If you have been having a hard time finding the motivation to focus on your coursework and find yourself doing everything, but studying, this virtual workshop is for you! This virtual workshop will help you understand why you procrastinate, how to stop, and learn to better manage your time.
 
 

Self-care and Coping During COVID-19
Day/Time:

Description: This virtual workshop will teach students helpful coping skills and self-care techniques to better adjust to a COVID-19 informed semester. Topics like technology fatigue, navigating boundaries and time management, which may be especially difficult at this time, will be addressed. Students will learn new ways to navigate these stressors and connect with others on campus, in addition to learning more about how to utilize CAPS resources for additional support.
 

College of Engineering Graduate Students- Understanding Self and Others

Day/Times: Thursdays starting October 8, 2020 to November 19, 2020, 2-3:30pm

Description: This virtual semester-long interpersonal process group is designed for CoE graduate students who want to explore personal growth and gain awareness to enhance their functioning in personal and academic settings. This is a group for graduate students who: have concerns about important relationships in their life, need more support, want to be supportive of others and want time to explore feelings and thoughts. This space will establish a strong, collaborative environment to foster healthy self-concepts and hope for the future through a sense of shared experiences.

*This virtual group is open to all doctoral students and currently enrolled masters students, who live in Michigan.
